Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan joined the show to talk about the Badgers’ win over Ohio State.
“Jordan Taylor just uplifted the whole team. And the fans responded. And once the fans got going … it was what we needed,” Ryan said.
Ryan said that Taylor is a “coach on the floor” and has always been impressed with his leadership abilities. ”He’ll be president,” Ryan said. “Or at least governor of Minnesota, where he’s from.”
Ryan said he heard from almost every he knew after the game. He even heard from Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He’d met Rodgers through charity golf tournaments. “I’ve always been so impressed by the way he handled that situation,” said Ryan, presumably referring to taking over for Brett Favre in Green Bay.
Ryan had a lot of praise for Ohio State big man Jared Sullinger. “I think he’s better than advertised,” Ryan said. Ryan said he didn’t know anything about the report fans spit on Sullinger.
