Joe Maloof explains why Kings stayed in Sacramento
Kings co-owner Joe Maloof joined the show to talk about why the team will stay in Sacremento for now.
Maloof said they got a great commitment from the fans and the business community and was really impressed and appreciative.
Maloof also said the league was involved. “The NBA wanted us to go back,” Maloof said. “They wanted us to give it another try.”
Maloof hinted it was a close call. But Maloof said the team is improving and there’s a lot of optimism. “I think we’ll be very successful next year on the court,” Maloof said.
