Barreiro: T-Wolves absurd to dangle Kurt Rambis
KFAN in Minneapolis radio host Dan Barreiro joined the show to talk about the Timberwolves’ issues.
Barreiro said that the Kurt Rambis situation is “absurd.” He said that no team acts like this. There’s no reason they should be waiting to fire him, since it’s inevitable. Barreiro said all the positive press with Ricky Rubio has been lost.
Barreiro said no smart coach would want to join the Timberwolves because they left Rambis dangling.
Barreiro also commented on trade rumors. He said that the T-Wolves want Andrew Bynum, but the Lakers don’t want to do that.
Barreiro can’t understand the possibility of trading for a 37-year-old Steve Nash. “I think this Nash talk was madness,” Barreiro said.
