FIND A STATION Dan Patrick Show
Jody Oehler and Mike “MJ” Jurecki fill in this week
Friday’s guests: David Ross, Joel Corry

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh joined the show to talk about his reputation and the upcoming season.

Suh says he understands that the NFL is trying to cut down on big hits. “I understand it’s big on player safety,” Suh said. “I respect that.”

Suh said he could get away with more in college. But he said he thinks that colleges are cracking down.

Suh said that he’s not sure how they’ll collect the $20K fine from the preseason. Interestingly, he said that the team doesn’t offer direct deposit.

Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffOK, people are being a little harsh on this #SlamDunkContest. We have high expectations. The last dunk was pretty nuts.13 hours ago
Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffDerrick Jones Jr. vs. Glenn Robinson III in #SlamDunkContest final is not quite Jordan vs. Nique. Close. But not quite.13 hours ago
Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffWhat? 38 for Aaron Gordon - grabbing ball after it fell from drone, going b/w legs. What's he supposed to do, actually fly? #SlamDunkContest13 hours ago
Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffThis using people as props stuff in dunk contest is weak. Give me Harold Miner, Vince or Dominique using nothing but their own awesomeness.14 hours ago
