Chris Mannix: NBA and union are close, but they’re not meeting
SI.com’s Chris Mannix joined the show to talk about the NBA labor issues.
Mannx said negotiations could be heading in an ugly direction. “Right now I think we’re reaching the point where it could become an ugly PR war,” Mannix said.
But Mannix said that the two sides are closer than they’ve ever been. The amount of money they’re differing on isn’t that huge.
“My problem with the entire process is they are not meeting,” Mannix said. He said that they’re close enough they might be able to solve it if they’re in the same room.
Dan asked when they’ll end the Lockout. “Best case scenario is Dec. 1,” Mannix said.
