Columbus Dispatch’s Tim May: Meyer in good position to win title at Ohio State
Columbus Dispatch reporter Tim May joined the show to talk about Ohio State tabbing Urban Meyer as the next head coach.
May said that one of the conviniences with Urban Meyer was that he didn’t have a job, so Ohio State could reach out to him. He thinks they’ve been thinking Meyer since last Spring.
May said that people at Ohio State are confident there won’t be a postseason ban because of the scandal under Jim Tressel. May thinks that Meyer has a chance to take Ohio State all the way to the top.
“I think it’s easier to get to the national title game from the Big Ten,” May said. . You and I both know the toughest conference in America is the SEC West. Right now the Legends and Leaders doesn’t add up to that.”
