FIND A STATION Dan Patrick Show
Jody Oehler and Mike “MJ” Jurecki fill in this week
Friday’s guests: David Ross, Joel Corry

The one man who saw the Jeremy Lin phenomenon was Ed Weiland, a FedEx driver who also writes hoopsanalyst.com.

Weiland broke down the numbers, and had Lin rated very highly at Harvard. He even had Lin in the same category as Allen Iverson.

Weiland said that the guy he sees being better than we think in the NBA right now is Marquette’s Jae Crowder and North Texas’ Tony Mitchell.

Weiland said that of the marquee guys, he likes Tyler Zeller and Jared Sullinger to be better than he thought they would be after watching this year. He’s not big on Harrison Barnes and Perry Jones.

Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffOK, people are being a little harsh on this #SlamDunkContest. We have high expectations. The last dunk was pretty nuts.13 hours ago
Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffDerrick Jones Jr. vs. Glenn Robinson III in #SlamDunkContest final is not quite Jordan vs. Nique. Close. But not quite.13 hours ago
Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffWhat? 38 for Aaron Gordon - grabbing ball after it fell from drone, going b/w legs. What's he supposed to do, actually fly? #SlamDunkContest13 hours ago
Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffThis using people as props stuff in dunk contest is weak. Give me Harold Miner, Vince or Dominique using nothing but their own awesomeness.14 hours ago
