Pat Forde weighs in on where Kentucky team fits in history
Yahoo’s Pat Forde, who lives in Louisville, joined the show to preview the Kentucky-Louisville matchup in the Final Four.
Dan asked Forde if he thinks Kentucky could be a the Toronto Raptors. Forde agrees with Dan, that would never happen. And Forde doesn’t think the Wildcats are one of the great teams of all time. “They’re very good, but I don’t think they’re great because they’re too young,” Forde said. “Patrick Ewing played four years of college basketball, Ralph Sampson played four. Chris Webber played two.”
That being said, Forde thinks Louisville really needs to hit their threes to pull off the upset. And Forde said that the emotional issues between John Calipari and Rick Pitino are legit.
