Charlie Sheen tells us he did not buy Lawrence Taylor’s ring

Charlie Sheen told us reports that he bought Lawrence Taylor’s Super Bowl ring, which had recently been put up for auction, are not true.

Here is Sheen’s statement to the Dan Patrick Show: “As much as I would be honored to own such an important artifact, I had nothing to do with the acquisition.”

There is no official word on who bought Taylor’s ring for about $230,000.
