Rich Eisen talks about Peyton Manning effect around the NFL
NFL Network host Rich Eisen joined the show to talk about the big stories around the League.
Eisen commented on Jim Harbaugh’s comments that they didn’t pursue Peyton Manning, they just flew cross-country to evaluate him. Eisen said this happened all over the league. “The domino effect of Peyton Manning’s job search affected about half the league,” Eisen said. Eisen said that coaches everywhere had to smooth things over.
Eisen said it wasn’t simple to try to get rid of the Pro Bowl. For one thing, Eisen said Pro Bowl appearances are written into contracts for many players.
