Angels’ Mike Trout talks about surprising rookie success
Angels rookie Mike Trout joined the show to talk about his instant success in the Majors and more.
Trout said that he’s learning a lot from Albert Pujols and Torii Hunter. He said this is the first time he’s seen all these guys so he’s eager to take advice.
Dan asked if he ever asked his idol Derek Jeter for autographs. Trout had no problem admitting he did. He talked about the first time he faced him, he got a chance to talk to him.
Trout explained how he’s gotten 30 stolen bases. He said that he has the green light, but it all depends on the pitcher and the count.
Trout told Dan he still lives with his parents. He said his room is a bit of a shrine to his awards and he made a ManCave in the basement.
