Nathan Adrian talks about dramatic gold medal victory
Gold medalist Nathan Adrian joined guest host Mike Florio to talk about winning the 100m freestyle in dramatic fashion.
Adrian said that his first thought was the check the scoreboard, and even after that, he still had to double-check.
Adrian talked about what an honor it will be to be on the relay team with Michael Phelps for the final Olympic race of his career. Adrian says today’s 200m medley between Phelps and Ryan Lochte will be classic.
Adrian said he was basically sleeping with the gold medal and tapped it on the phone. Adrian told Mike that the beds are definitely not long enough for tall swimmers like him.
