Tony Dungy defends Jay Cutler, praises RGIII

NBC NFL analyst Tony Dungy joined the show to talk about the Packers’ win over the Bears and preview the upcoming week.

Dan asked about Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler being upset with his linemen and upset after the game.

“I don’t blame Jay Cutler for getting upset,” Dungy said. “He was honest. I don’t have a problem with what happened afterward.”

Dungy weighed in on Robert Griffin III, who he liked even more than Andrew Luck. Dungy said the Redskins will be a very tough offense to stop with his run-pass ability — “that’s why I think he’s going to be a nightmare,” Dungy said.

Dungy didn’t have a problem with the claim that RGIII could be the most athletic QB ever. Dungy said that Griffin probably could have been an Olympic medalist.
