Paul Wood talks about painful rugby injury
Warrington Wolves rugby player Paul Wood joined the show to talk about losing a testicle in a match.
Wood said that he’s OK, in some pain, but it’s not too bad.
Wood said they don’t wear cups. He knew he had a problem, but he was determined to stay on the pitch, because this was equivalent to the Super Bowl. He said that the adrenaline was pumping so much, he didn’t feel the pain.
Dan asked if the injury or losing the game hurt more. “In all honesty, losing the game was worse,” Wood said.
