Charles Barkley says Lakers using wrong kind of offense

TNT NBA analyst Charles Barkley joined the show to talk about the big storylines at the beginning of the season.

Barkley says the Lakers offense was “silly” last night in a loss to Minnesota.

“I want my accountant from Princeton … not my offense,” Barkley said.

Barkley thinks speeding up the tempo would help Dwight Howard tremendously … get him some lobs and easy baskets.

Barkley doesn’t think much of Kevin Garnett snubbing Ray Allen. Barkley thinks the game is too soft right now and everyone gets along on the court.
“Some of this hugging and kissing before and after the game is annoying,” Barkley said.

Barkley thinks the accusation by a local civil rights advocate that the Minnesota Timberwolves are “too white” is ridiculous. He said there’s no way they would want a losing team. “It’s an insult to fans to say they want an all-white team and they stink,” Barkley said. “Fans want to come see a team win.”
