Denver Nuggets coach George Karl joining the show to talk about the Lakers hiring Mike D’Antoni and more.

Karl thinks that D’Antoni will have success in L.A. “Mike is pretty creative,” Karl said. “He understands how to score points at a high level.” And he thinks the Lakers already have proven they can play defense.

Karl thinks the Lakers didn’t give Mike Brown a fair shot. He said the NBA season is a marathon, and lots of teams could start off slow and then be the best team by the end of the season.

Karl weighed in on Phil Jackson having always coached the best teams. He admitted a lot of coaches would want to coach Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, but he doesn’t hold it against Jackson.
