NFL Network’s Kurt Warner joined the show to talk about the big stories around the League.

Warner talked about the challenges of being a backup. Warner said when you have two good quarterbacks, it can foster unnecessary controversy. But it’s important to have a guy who gives you a chance to win.

Dan asked who’s the one team he has the most faith in. “Patriots,” Warner said. He also said the Broncos are impressing him.

Dan asked Warner if a guy like Tom Brady is a system quarterback. “We’re all system quarterbacks,” Warner said. “That’s why it’s so difficult for players have so much difficulty going from one system to another.” Warner talked about how hard it was for him to go from St. Louis to New York. He said the Giants’ system didn’t fit him.

Warner said that people aren’t focusing on Brady as much as they should. In part because Brady has been doing it for so long.
