Rich Eisen said NFL trying to do right thing on head injuries

NFL Network host Rich Eisen joined the show to talk about the Thanksgiving games and more.

Eisen talked about the NFL reversing its ruling on Ed Reed. “The League is trying to do the right thing,” Eisen said. He said that it’s hard to make that helmet-to-helmet calls and they should review them.

“The League should never put the officials in the position of deciding intent,” Eisen said.

Eisen said that he expects the Jets to come out throwing against the Patriots because they had success in the air when they played them earlier in the season.

Eisen had interesting comments on the Colin Kaepernick-Alex Smith QB battle. He said fans in San Francisco want Kaepernick. “So many people think in the Bay Area that’s what’s missing — the second or third gear,” Eisen said.
