Mark Richt comments on Aaron Murray's NFL chances; talks about his own QB career

Georgia coach Mark Richt joined the show to talk about the upcoming game against Alabama.

Dan asked Richt about Tony Dungy’s comments on this show that Aaron Murray could be the best QB coming out in the Draft. Richt said he won’t comment specifically, but he’s confident that Murray can play in the NFL.

“He is a very good student of the game,” Richt said. “He’s taken every waking moment that he’s not sleeping or eating, preparing for this game.”

Richt talked about his own days as a quarterback. He went to Miami and Jim Kelly, Bernie Kosar and Vinny Testaverde were all there. Then he went to the  Broncos to try out and John Elway was there. He went to the Dolphins, and Dan Marino was there. Richt said that he got to see good quarterbacks up close so he could coach them later. Still, Richt said that he believed he was good enough to play.
