Tony Gonzalez on the media's perception of the Falcons and when he'll retire

Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez joined the show to talk about his season.

Dan asked Gonzalez about people in the media who don’t buy into the Falcons.

“We don’t care,” Gonzalez said. “We don’t listen to the noise if it’s good or bad.”

But Gonzalez said he understands because the Falcons haven’t done it in the postseason yet.

Dan asked if he’s rather go out on top or at the bottom.

“I’d rather go out on top,” Gonzalez said.

Dan asked Gonzalez if anything could change his mind about retiring. “It would be a no-brainer to retire if we get to the Super Bowl and win the game,” Gonzalez said. “It wouldn’t be a hard decision.”

Gonzalez did said if they don’t win, it’s a different story. “If we get close,” Gonzalez said. “That’s where that five percent [chance I’d come back] would pop up.”
