Bob Costas on winning the Sports Emmy
Bob Costas joined the show to talk about beating Dan for the Sports Emmy once again.
Costas said that it’s not a direct competition because he, Dan, Ernie Johnson and Rich Eisen all do something different. But Costas did agree to an idea of Dan’s. If Dan wins, Costas will stop submitting material for the award and they can call it the “Bob Costas” award.
Costas also told an incredible story about how he got his first major job by stringing together a few of his acceptable calls from Syracuse.
