FIND A STATION Dan Patrick Show
Jody Oehler and Mike “MJ” Jurecki fill in this week
Friday’s guests: David Ross, Joel Corry

Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix (@ChrisMannixSI) joined the show to break down the NBA Finals.

“I like San Antonio,” Mannix said. “I picked them to start. And I’m going to stick with them. … I just think they’re the better team right now. One of the reasons is that Mario Chalmers and Norris Cole have given the Heat nothing. Tony Parker, bad leg and all, is going right at them.”

Mannix said that Chalmers or Cole has to step up for the Heat to win. He said that every time LeBron James has to cover Parker, he loses energy that could be used on offense. And Mannix said that Mike Miller is actually a defensive liability.

Mannix said that right now Spurs sharpshooter Danny Green is the series MVP.

Mannix also talked about some of the big trade rumors out there. He said that if Eric Bledsoe is included in the potential Clippers-Celtics deal, coach Doc Rivers and Kevin Garnett will be headed to Los Angeles.

Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffOK, people are being a little harsh on this #SlamDunkContest. We have high expectations. The last dunk was pretty nuts.13 hours ago
Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffDerrick Jones Jr. vs. Glenn Robinson III in #SlamDunkContest final is not quite Jordan vs. Nique. Close. But not quite.13 hours ago
Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffWhat? 38 for Aaron Gordon - grabbing ball after it fell from drone, going b/w legs. What's he supposed to do, actually fly? #SlamDunkContest13 hours ago
Andrew Perloff @andrewperloffThis using people as props stuff in dunk contest is weak. Give me Harold Miner, Vince or Dominique using nothing but their own awesomeness.14 hours ago
