Sean Payton looks ahead to season, comments on handling injuries
New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton joined the show to talk about the upcoming season and look back at his year off from the team.
Payton didn’t seem bothered that the Saints are flying under the radar. He said you can’t read too much into which teams are getting the attention. Payton also had interesting comments on how you address players’ health. He said keep it simple by sharing the injury report at the end of the week — don’t keep moving guys up and down the statuses during the week.
