FIND A STATION Dan Patrick Show
FRIDAY: Jay Bilas

Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker (@weswelker) joined the show to talk about their Week 1 victory and life in Denver.

Dan asked Welker about the punt he dropped against the Ravens. “The ball drifted and I drifted with it,” Welker said. “I should have stayed square. … Really, I should have let that one go.”

Welker looked ahead to next Sunday and said he thinks Peyton Manning would give up details on Eli to help the Broncos win.

Dan and Welker also had an interesting conversation about the media. Dan said Welker would be good as a broadcaster. But Welker said he doesn’t want to be the guy who asks what it’s like to play with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.
