Pac-12 analyst Rick Neuheisel joined the show to talk about Johnny Manziel and more.

Neuheisel thinks the NFL is going to like Johnny Manziel and he’ll go in the first round, but they have to be careful how they use him. “You’re going to lose a lot of the essence of what Johnny is,” Neuheisel said. “Johnny Manziel is a point guard. He makes plays in space….  He is magic. He’s a better thrower than people give him credit for. His ability to create plays with his legs is unparalleled.”

Neuheisel thinks the team that drafts him has to commit. “You have to drink the Kool Aid when you take him,” Neuheisel said, “but there are plenty of teams that would do that”

Neuheisel, however, isn’t sure Manziel is a top-five pick. Dan asked who could go higher. Neuheisel said UCLA’s Brett Hundley and Oregon’s Marcus Mariota.

Neuheisel also weighed in on USC coach Lane Kiffin’s future. He said that Kiffin may need to get nine wins to keep his job and that UCLA’s success is a problem.
