Hines Ward says Todd Haley can’t do his job with injuries in Pittsburgh

NBC NFL analyst Hines Ward (@mvp86hinesward) joined the show to talk about the big stories around the League.

Ward weighed in on the offensive struggles of his former team the Steelers. Ward said it’s hard for offensive coordinator Todd Haley to run his offense because of all their injuries.

Ward said he’s surprised Terrelle Pryor couldn’t remember last Monday’s game but he could potentially be ready to go this weekend. He said he never blacked out like that from a concussion.

Ward commented on how hard it is to stop the Denver Broncos. He said defenses have to “pick their poison” and there’s no easy way to stop them.

Ward told Dan that he’s still competing in the Iron Man in Hawaii. Ward said that he’s new to all three disciplines and we should pray for him because he doesn’t know how he’s going to do it.
