John Smoltz on wild-card format and playing golf with Jordan and Tiger
TBS MLB analyst John Smoltz joined the show to talk about the playoffs and more.
Smoltz talked about the issues with the wild-card — he said the one-game format is a different thing for managers and could disrupt strategy.
Dan also asked about playing golf with Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods and how competitive they are. Smoltz said whatever you do, don’t trash talk with those two guys: “That’s the one thing you don’t want to get involved with in either of those guys.”
