Condoleezza Rice on challenges of college football selection committee

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice joined the show to talk about joining the committee to select the final four teams in college football.

Rice described her concerns because she jumped in on this. “I was mostly concerned with time commitment. I wanted to make sure I could do it and do a good job.”

I think the college football playoff is long overdue. Fans have been frustrated.

“There were times where my duties didn’t allow me,” Rice said. “I always managed somehow to watch those games.”

Rice said that she grew up watching with her late father and that he would be really excited about this.

Dan asked who would be a better football coach – George Bush or Dick Cheney? She said she wouldn’t go there.
