Mike Glennon talks about stepping in for Josh Freeman in Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Mike Glennon joined the show to talk about his rookie season and more.

Dan asked Glennon if he expected to be a backup when he came in. “Yeah, I knew they had a quarterback (Josh Freeman) who had been here for a few years,” Glennon said. “I figured that’s what they were bringing me in here to do.”

Glennon said replacing Russell Wilson at North Carolina State helped prepare him for the situation in Tampa.

“Stepping in for Russell was a situation that was completely unique. I knew people were going to put a lot of pressure on me to outperform Russell.

Dan asked Glennon if he’s had to do anything special as a rookie. “The only thing I had to do was go get Chiplote a few times,” Glennon said.
