Haloti Ngata: NFL creating Super Bowl blackout is plausible

Baltimore Ravens DT Haloti Ngata (@Haloti_Ngata92) joined the show to talk about his season and much more.

Dan asked what he thought of Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs claiming that the NFL intentionally caused the blackout during the Super Bowl.

“I’m kind of with those guys,” Ngata said. “You are a multi-billion business. To have a power outage in the middle of the Super Bowl is just kind of crazy.”

Ngata said he didn’t think the League wanted the 49ers to win, but he thinks they wanted a closer game.

Ngata talked about the Ravens-Patriots rivalry. He really doesn’t like New England. Dan asked Ngata if Tom Brady is a pretty boy. “Definitely,” Ngata said. “He wants every call.”

Dan followed up by asking if Brady whines. “I don’t think that’s really a question,” Ngata said. “You see that on television.”

Ngata weighed in on Ahmad Brooks’ hit on Drew Brees last Sunday. Ngata said it was a “horrible” call.
