Aaron Rodgers says TD against Bears was ‘huge moment in my career’

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers joined the show to talk about returning from injury for their big Week 17 win and their upcoming game against the 49ers.

Dan asked what is behind the Lambeau advantage in cold weather. “It’s more psychological,” Rodgers said. He said that the fans make a big impact as well. And he mentioned practicing outside helping a bit.

Dan asked if he was nervous heading into Sunday. “I was a little nervous to take the first shot,” Rodgers said. He said the first hit was actually a bit late. But he was OK.

Rodgers talked about the game-winning drive against the Bears. He said there was no rhythm whatsoever. Their was one mistake after another, but he made a fourth-down adjustment for the big touchdown.

“This is a huge moment in my career,” Rodgers said. He admitted it couldn’t touch the Super Bowl, but said this was right up there because of the way the season has gone.
