John Smoltz on big MLB contracts, his busted bracket
TBS’ John Smoltz joined the show to talk about the big story lines in baseball. Smoltz had several interesting comments on some of the mega-contracts out there. He said that the length of pitcher contracts is troublesome, but if anyone deserves a big one, it’s Clayton Kershaw. He said that it’s a copycat League and that’s why some of these big contracts are getting signed right now.
