Sports Illustrated’s Tom Verducci joined the show to talk about Derek Jeter’s final home opener and other big storylines around baseball. Verducci talked about seeing Jeter when he first came up and how far he’s come. He also weighed in on Yasiel Puig’s start to the season. “They have nothing to do with his personality,” Verducci said “It’s the way he plays the game. He’s not a very smart baseball player. But Verducci said that Puig is improving and this year he learned how to hit the cut-off man.
