Doug Gottlieb: UConn a bunch of ‘junkyard dogs’
CBS’ Doug Gottlieb joind the show to share his thoughts on UConn beating Kentucky in the national championship game.
Gottlieb explained why he thinks Connecticut isn’t considered a premier team like UNC or Duke. He said that they’re just fighters who don’t care about image or anything like this. “You have a bunch of guys who are just junkyard dogs,” Gottlieb said. He said guys like the Harrison twins wanted nothing to do with the nasty guards of UConn.
Gottlieb doens’t buy that John Calipari will leave Kentucky for the Lakers or any other job. “He’s made for that job,” Gottlieb said.
