Reggie Miller recalls playing ’80s Pistons

TNT’s Reggie Miller joined the show to talk about the big stories in the playoffs. He broke down each series and looked back at ESPN’s 30-for-30 documentary “Bad Boys.”

Miller did indeed have issues with the Bad Boys. “I feared [Rick] Mahorn more, but [Bill] Laimbeer was the dirtiest,” Miller said. But he said that he respected Isiah Thomas. Miller also recounted how Joe Dumars would say to him before the game, I know you’re going to beat me at some point, but if you do, you know what’s coming.

Miller and Dan also got into a very interesting conversation about where the greatest of all time ranked. He said he’d start a team with Magic over Kobe – just so he could get the ball.

Miller also recounted all the fights he had in his career — many were with teammates. Miller said that’s the only way you get better. Miller ran down the list, which included Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Mark Jackson and many more.
