FIND A STATION Dan Patrick Show
Friday: Tony Dungy, Tom Waddle

Tommy John joined the show to talk about having the famous surgery named after him. He told the story of how it happened and how long the odds were that it was going to work. And he said the surgeon, Dr. Frank Jobe, would explain the technical name of the surgery and people’s eyes would glaze over, so he just said, the surgery John had. John also told very interesting stories about playing under Billy Martin — who he called a bigot — and Tommy Lasorda.
