Tim Howard proud of U.S. performance

U.S. goalie Tim Howard joined the who to talk about the loss to Belgium and more.

Howard was proud of the U.S.’s performance. “We held our own,” Howard said, “which most people didn’t think we would do.”

Dan asked Howard who would be the U.S. goaltender in four years. “Brad Guzan,” Howard said. He said that Guzan is a great friend and a great goalie.

Howard isn’t sure what he’ll do moving forward. “I could barely see next week let alone four years down the road,” Howard said.

Dan asked what he did right after the game. Howard said he had a drug test. He said it’s better to have a drug test after a loss because you don’t miss celebrating with his teammates.
