Jeremy Lin looks back at Linsanity, talks Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers point guard Jeremy Lin joined the show to talk about his new team and look back at the wild ride of LinSanity. Here are some of his takes:

– Dan asked Naturally after two years of under-performing, there are times I’m not sure what’s going on. Will I ever be able to rebound and respond. I think everyone goes through that. You can’t always account for your role or your system. I do believe in myself. I believe that I’m a much better player then I was three years ago in New York.

– Lin looked back at Linsanity: “It was the craziest time in my life. There was so much happening.”

But he said there were a lot of good things. “Prior to that I thought I was going to get cut,” Lin said. “There were a lot of other good things that happened … breaking down stereotypes … not just Asian, the Harvard thing, undrafted.”

— Dan asked Lin who his coach was going to be. “I don’t know,” Lin said. “You might know better than me. I don’t think that’s a bad thing . Without a full roster and guys out of town. It’d be nice, but I don’ think there’s any harm in doing extra diligence.”
