Blandino expects extra-point rule to change
NFL officiating chief Dean Blandino joined guest host Mike Florio to talk about all the flags we’re seeing this preseason.
“Everybody is somewhat concerned about the number of flags and rightfully so,” Blandino said. “We anticpated this.”
He explained that teams have to adjust. Blandino said that teams have always adjusted in the past. He pointed to 2004 when they have a similar adjustment.
Blandino also said that he believes the extra point rule will change by next year. He said it won’t necessarily be with the ball at the 15 like it is during this preseason.
