Tony Dungy previews season, comments on Jim Irsay

NBC NFL analyst Tony Dungy joined guest hosts Kay Adams and Dhani Jones to talk about the upcoming season. Dungy said that he expects the same teams who went deep in last year’s playoffs – Seattle, San Francisco, Denver and New England — to do well again this year. He said it’s hard to repeat, but it’s hard to bet against the Seahawks.

Dungy had interesting comments on Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. He said that if you call him a game manager you don’t know football. Dungy said Wilson made big plays when the team needed it the most.

Dungy also talked about his former boss – Colts owner Jim Irsay. He said Irsay is a “good, good person” and he hopes he gets help.
