Brian Urlacher on leaving FOX: “I just got tired of the travel”
Former NFL great Brian Urlacher joined the show to talk about why he decided to step down from his role as an analyst on FOX.
I just got tired of the travel, even if I only had a carry-on bag, American Airlines would always charge me oversize fees for my bag, Urlacher said. I wanted to feel like I was retired.
Urlacher said he loved doing the show, but he wanted to watch his kid play football on the weekend.
Urlacher also had very interesting comments about concussions. He said back when he had one he sat out for about two plays. He said times have changed and explained the difference between getting dinged and a concussion.
