Warren Sapp: Gruden would be crazy to leave MNF for Raiders
NFL Network’s Warren Sapp joined the show to talk about the big stories around the League.
Dan asked Sapp if he thinks Jon Gruden would consider taking the Raiders job. Sapp said no way, because he has a great, cushy job with Monday Night Football.
Sapp admitted he didn’t like playing for the Raiders. He said the defense almost got three turnovers a game and the offense was so bad, they won two games. He said head coach Lane Kiffin didn’t like him because he didn’t want older players.
Sapp weighed in on Tom Brady’s struggles. He said that offensive line is a problem. Sapp talked about how felt facing a shaky line … “hungry.” And Sapp said that they prioritized stopping the run so they could get third-and-long situations.
