J.J. Watt explains why Mettenberger selfie was an issue
Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt joined the show to talk about the Texans’ win over the Titans, his remarks about quarterback Zach Mettenberger and much more.
Watt explained why the Titans’ Mettenberger taking a selfie before the game bothered him. “As a player you take the game seriously,” Watt said. “I dont mind what he does during the week. Thats his off time. You find any little motivation you can. He can do whatever he wants during that week.”
But Watt said that Mettenberger played well, and in the end, he’s always looking for small things to motivate him.
Watt also talked about how hard the current rules are for him …. it’s not easy slowing down when you get to the quarterback.
