Anthony Davis still has work before you call him top-five player
New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis joined the show to talk about his season and more. Here are some his takes:
— Dan asked his toughest matchup. “Between Kevin Love, LaMarcus Aldridge and Blake,” Davis said. “Great basketball players. They pose the toughest matchups. Especially Blake.
— Dan asked who has posterized him. “My first year I got dunked on by Nicholas Batum,” Davis said. “Thats the only one I can remember.”
— Davis said slow down ranking him among the top five players yet, although he said that’s up to the media, not him. “A lot of people say I am,” Davis said. “I have a lot to work on. This is only my third year. I still have to work on my post moves. Consistent free throws, mid-range jump shots, ballhandling.”
— Dan asked if he’s a center or a forward. “Sometimes I play center. Sometimes I play forward. Honestly, it doesnt really matter to me,” Davis said.
