Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon joined the show to talk about his future and getting invited to New York for the Heisman Trophy ceremony.
Dan asked if he’s going to the Outback Bowl and then going to the NFL. Gordon said yes. The redshirt junior has run for 2,336 yards this season and is expected to be a high pick.
Gordon also said he understands Marcus Mariota is the favorite for the Heisman.”It is what it is,” Gordon said. “You’d like to win it. He had a phenomenal year.”
Gordon did agree with Dan about Heisman night fashion. He said that he’s going with a black suit – nothing outrageous.
