Kurt Warner says he would have considered playing for Cards
NFL Network’s Kurt Warner joined the show to talk about the Cardinals and much more.
Warner said he talked half-jokingly to Bruce Arians and the team about playing quarterback for the Cardinals when he was there for a Thursday Night game. But he did think about it if they had seriously reached out.
“There was a scenario where I would have considered it,” Warner said. “I spent a lot of time talking to my family about it. … Physically I feel really good. … I don’t know what I would have done.”
Warner talked about his Hall of Fame chances and noted that with all the passing, quarterback, receiver and sack numbers will not be a good guide any more, because they’re all going up so quickly.
