Curt Schilling on why he didn’t make Hall of Fame

ESPN’s Curt Schilling joined the show to talk about not getting into the Hall of Fame this year.

Schilling said he can understand why his vote total was low: “It’s an awkward process. Maybe I don’t belong. …. I was always the most critical guy of my own ability. Everyone in the Hall of Fame belongs there. If I had my own Hall of Fame, I’d wouldn’t be in it. Hall of Fame, you’re either in our your out.”

Schilling weighed in on all the other strong candidates. He doesn’t think confirmed PED users should be in (definitely not A-Rod) but wasn’t sure what to do about Mike Piazza.
