Jim Nantz breaks down controversial replay in title game

CBS’ Jim Nantz joined the show to talk about calling the national title game and the upcoming Masters.

Nantz shared his view on a controversial call in the last two minutes of the title game. Officials did not overturn a call when CBS had angles that showed a ball was really off Duke. Nantz said that the officials did have access to those angles, but didn’t get to them.

Nantz talked about his admiration for Wisconsin winning without any McDonald’s All-Americans. “One of my favorite groups of guys I’ve ever been around,” Nantz said. “Not to say I’m rooting for anyone. I don’t. I have a deep admiration for [Coach K]. …. That Wisconsin team … there was just something about them that was really fun. They’re always going to be remembered as the team that beat Kentucky.”

Nantz also talked about how everyone is asking about Tiger Woods leading up to the Masters. He said it appears to be a new Tiger.
