Mark Schlereth: NFL sacrificing Brady to clean up image
ESPN’s Mark Schlereth joined the show to talk about his new podcast “The Stinkin’ Truth” and preview the NFL season.
Schlereth said that the NFL is trying to curb cheating in general and Tom Brady is their sacrificial lamb. He thinks the NFL has been tarnished and they’re trying to clean up the league from a cultural standpoint.
Schlereth also talked about how strong he was — he says he could still lift over 400 pounds at 49. And he said his father benched 300 pounds twice at age 75.
