Matt Ryan on Julio Jones, Cowboys, helping B.C. and J.J. Watt
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan joined the show to talk about their 2-0 start and more.
— Ryan said now that he’s a veteran he realizes you can’t overestimate early results. “It’s a long stretch,” Ryan said. “Each game counts one. Whether they’re in September or December.”
— Dan asked Ryan how good Julio Jones is. “He can be the best receiver in the League,” Ryan said. “He’s probably already there. … He’s just so consistent.”
— The Falcons face the Cowboys this week. Ryan said that he’s watched two Cowboys games on tape and they are very sound defensively.
— Dan asked Ryan who he’d want for a season – J.J. Watt or Darrelle Revis. He said he’d choose Watt .
— Ryan said he’s never called a recruit to help Boston College.
